Things have been going well. The days pass without great speed, which I appreciate. I'm surviving the cold showers, but got a treat yesterday. I think I mentioned that they purchased a house a couple of months ago, about 7 minutes from the border, from an 80 year old Italian woman in Chula Vista. It's quite a large ranch-style house, called Sagrada Corazon because the lady said she had been praying to the sacred heart and when they came to see the house she gave M. Areli the keys without any money and said, "I've been waiting for you." It's still a huge commitment financially, but it will allow for the expansion of the ministry into the US and they move their studio to transmit from there to bypass the absurd Mexican law. Right now they cannot transmit in Mexico the Mass, the rosary or anything the is specifically Catholic until January. 3 months on, 3 months off, but they are being very creative. However by satellite they continue to reach central america and san diego.
Yesterday we had an open house event where we sold all sorts of food and I worked like mad. It was great. It was a revolving door of people after people. I was mainly kept the tables clean and everything inbetween. It was great fun. It reminded me how much I enjoy working hard and being in the mix of life and I did great with my spanish. It was great practice for me. A fun day for certain. There were at least 200 people who came through the doors. Of course now M. Areli wants me to come work for them and run the house in Chula Vista and be the administrator for Monte Maria in the US. We'll see. I'm not really ready to say yes to anything. One thing at a time, but they love to dream and frequently these dreams do come true.
As for the miracles that I mentioned that happened (there are many), the recent ones were during the Tuesday healing Mass. A quadrapalegic came forward for blessing and prayer by Pd. Jorge etc. and the next Tuesday he returned walking and is since doing great and the doctors can't explain it. Another one involves a woman with a birth defect skin condition and she too came back healed. All in the course of a day right? The other one some of you know about involving a bleeding presider host. This was a several months ago during a Mass in S. Mexico. There were at least 500 people present. The is still an investigation but there is no doubt it is blood and of course I don't doubt Pd. Rayito in the least. This is the second time it has happened for him. It's quite amazing. I'll get a copy of the photo and post it for you to see.
Anyway, never a dull day, but always a great day. It's very windy here today and everything is getting dusty and dirty, but we'll survive and at least is warmed up at night. That's the way it is my friends. God bless and keep you.
