In search of dirt to call our own

Okay, so we gave up on the old man. I'm not happy with him. Richard went one last time to see him. As I said, he has no phone so we have to find him at his house by chance or at the association office. The area we are looking to buy has an association and some of the owners meet daily, for what I have no idea. Really what can they have to discuss. Anyway, at least 3 weeks have gone by and we just want an answer. I mean we shook hands on the deal and everything. Anyway, he was "too busy" to be disturbed. So Richard told him, "good riddance and good luck" and we are done. But being the great man he is, he persevered. He went back to look at the first corner lot we saw in the same area. It was still for sale but the price had gone up $3k.

Anyway, up and down and up and down. So Richard doesn't like to announce the ups and downs. It doesn't bother me, but he doesn't want others to be disappointed or something. So I won't say much out of respect until we know. But as the story seems to go....we are embarking on a new land journey. It has similar issues to the previous one, but they seem more interested in selling and FOR LESS! So, prayers and positive thoughts for the right thing to occur, because I really don't know what is best.

We also found out about a future plan to build houses a complex near the largest beach in the area about 10 minutes outside town. But that won't be for a year. If we bought now we could get a great deal because the price will surely go up, a great investment. The lots are also double the size of the one we are looking at now. Anyway, who knows. I sure don't. I'm just taking it one day at a time. Go with the flow!
