Trip to the United States of America

First off. It is interesting to me how I am now much more aware of using the word America. Those who live in SOUTH America are Americans too. So, I become more conscious of language. Anyway it's interesting to note. So we are not visiting america. We are visiting the USA, just in case you cared.

So, more waiting. The embassy is closed tomorrow for some reason. Which means getting the visa stamp and the passport back is delayed by a day. So thank God the interview got moved to Monday or there would be NO way that we would have gotten it in time for our flight on Friday am.

So, they say maybe it should be there on Thursday. If not.....not sure what to do. So, if it comes. We leave for DC on Friday am via El Salvador. We will be there until the following Wed am when we fly to Seattle then the next day Boise.

Richard of course is excited to see DC and all the places he has seen in movies. He loves movies of all types. That's where he has learned the English he knows. So he wants to see it in person. So we'll find things to do while there and visit dear friends and hopefully not get snowed in with the crazy weather they are suffering from lately.

Then we have less than 24 hours in Seattle on a layover. So, we hope to see as many friends as possible and take in the city before we go on to Boise. We'll be there until we go back on March 1st. So Richard wants to see snow and maybe try skiing and see my brother he hasn't met and my neices and friends. It is going to be an amazing trip. I can't believe it is actually going to happen. It still seems like a dream. Up until now we didnt want to make plans or anything concrete because it is just too disappointing if it doesn't work.

So.......DHL.....embassy workers......visa.........Thursday......pretty please.
