So, I was checking messages yesterday and an unfamiliar voice with a British accent gave me the suprise of my life. He had read an article I had published a couple of months ago (http://www.nfcym.org/resources/components/adocatechesis/index.htm). He inquired if I was already seeking publication (right because of my illustrious book career). So, he asked if I'd be interested in writing a book for them. The gist of it is a practical look at how parishes and schools can collaborate together more effectively. How can faith formation happen differently to address the various needs etc.
So, I am to develop the table of contents and then we'll see from there. Taking a year or so doesn't seem to be a huge issue. He seemed very flexible.
In essence, I have an opportuntiy to write a book by a great publisher. Paulist Press has a great reputation. We'll see what happens. I'll keep you updated. This story just keeps getting crazier.

It happens because with God all things are possible! The Holy Spirit has plans for you girl.... be His instrument. You have let go and are letting God.. see what happens. If they want you to write a book, do it under your terms, take the time you need and then some. God will provide.
Actually, I'm not surprised after reading your article on the subject I thought it would make a good guide if you embellished it and went into more detail.
