July 2007, I quit my current job at BKHS. After 13 years of full time ministry in the Catholic Church, I put my possessions in storage, traveled Latin America. It was a grand adventure and a lesson in trust and faith. The story unfolds as I married Richard Zavaleta July 09 and I am now living in Peru and we are awaiting our first child in June 2010. This blog contains my adventures, observations and experiences.

Is the older niece your twin? Cuz in this picture, at least, it appears as though she is. Quite the resemblance.... It was nice chatting with you last night. We'll have to do it more often. Oh, and mark your calendar for May 3 - we'll be celebrating another first communion.
We had a modified prayer group gathering today and you were sorely missed. Ever since it ceased to be the four original astronauts, it doesn't seem right to call it a prayer group. And it has become much more social than before. That "ser-ver-juzgar" social analysis-rooted-in-gospel-values that we used when sharing our faith journeys with each other seems lost in UFC events and happy hours. The fellowship is still valuable, but it's just different:)
I have really enjoyed your blog...as well as your dad's advice! Does he mind if I take it as well??
I miss you tons. Limbert sends his saludos and abrazos as well.

Hope not only looks like you she is a spitting image of you at that age and shares many of your talents. Same mold different generation.
