So my days are coming to an end here. It has been a great 10 or so days. I´ve been able to relax, think and not be worried about my next hostel, bus, train, meal. I am blessed for the gift of this family´s hospitality.
I also got to attend 2 Peruvian weddings. Glayd´s nephew, Richard, invited me to go to a wedding with him. The first one was a bit dull and lacking in energy, although nice so we moved on to the second reception. It was great fun. We danced, altough my salsa is lacking. We had a great time. The second reception didn´t serve dinner until 2am if you can believe it. I guess a late dinner is the custom so people stay and party or something. I don´t know but we spent the night away until the morning. Richard was a lot of fun and we had a great time.
So, you just never know what will happen. I was a bit reluctant at first since I didn´t know anyone, but soon I was okay with my role as token gringa and went with it. People of course are very kind and it was fun to get all dressed up.
My friend Christy and her husband Limbert should be coming this way tomorrow and we´ll be moving on. So, it´s time to get my stuff in order and back into my little travel world. Oh for the days of luxury when I have a dresser to put my items. I like simple living though. It is not that bad. I really don´t need that much at all. Anyway, that is it for now from the road.
