Well, I haven´t posted much, because I haven´t done much. I will post photos tomorrow. But I thought I´d just add a quick update of life. I am relaxing, reading and enjoying life with a local family this week. Gladys cooks way too much food, but it´s fun trying new things.
I have felt calmer than my other travels and it is good for my soul to be in the same place for a while in an actual home. They are very loving, accepting and welcoming so it is easy to fit into their busy lives. It is summer here and it is hot, like Boise in the summer. I am sure most of you don´t want to hear this, but it is reality. Sorry for all of those suffering from the cold. It´s one or the other.
My soul is still searching for its destination. Being open to what is next without forcing anything specific. Little by little. I know Africa will be amazing and challenging in many ways and I am trying to stay in the moment. I am single. I am without a home. I am a vagabond and I am learning to be okay with it.
I know that my life must be about something. Life is to be for others. This is how we know ourselves and how we know love. So this is what I am open to each day. I pray for meaning in your days as well.
